National Bureau of Statistics reports that in 2023:

• the area of green spaces in urban localities amounted to 6.6 thousand ha (at the level of 2022), the municipality of Chisinau has the largest area of green spaces (66.4%);

• the length of illuminated city streets was 3.4 thousand km, or 1.3% more than in 2022.
